Hey Sarah,
How can I change the date of many photos on my iPhone? I took the photos with a camera, and the date was set to May 3, 2021, not the current date. Now that group of photos shows up as the most recent photos on my iPhone. I need to scroll back through all of the 2021 photos to view the most recent ones.
Sincerely,
Save the Date
Dear Save,
The easiest way to change the date or time stamp on your photos on your iPhone is within the Photos app on a Mac (assuming you have one and not a PC and that you have enabled iCloud photo sharing on your iPhone and are signed into the same iCloud account on both devices.) Hold down the Shift key while clicking on all the photos whose dates you want to change. Next, go to Images and click Adjust Date and Time. This will allow you to change the dates for all the selected photos at once. You can also use this method to adjust the time stamp on each individual photo. Just keep in mind that, unless you want all your photos to have the same time stamp, you might want to adjust the time stamps seperately as opposed to in bulk.
If you don't have a Mac, you will need to find an iPhone app that will let you change or remove the date or time stamp on your photos on your iPhone. One such popular app is Pixelgarde, but it only has a 3.5 star rating in the App Store. If you can find a higher rated one with better reviews, I recommend going with that instead.
